Oakwood Country Club in Lynchburg, VA

If you've never been to Oakwood Country Club, then you're in for a treat!  It's beautiful!

Oakwood Country Club dates back to 1912, and was built by architect, J.M. Lewis.  The club is located in the center of Lynchburg on Rivermont Avenue, and is easy to access.

Once you walk inside you're greeted by a large foyer, with a baby grand piano.  Then, a wall of french doors that lead you into the ballroom.

The main ballroom is gorgeous.  It's flanked by two large stone fireplaces, and vaulted ceilings.

 

Located in the back of the ballroom is a true English style pub.  While small in size it would be great to have for your reception, of course fully equipped with a bartender.  

On either side of the ballroom are two rooms.  I love symmetry of the layout, and the entry ways to each room spans off that beautiful front entry.

Oakwood Country Club can offer to accommodate up to 400 guest, 270 seated, and unlimited outdoor capacity.
