How about a winter wedding?

White fluffy snowflakes, ice covered trees, a warm fur wrap embracing the bride, and hot cocoa generate such a beautiful image for an already beautiful wedding, filled with family and friends that love you.

While we were determining the best day to have our wedding, we found it was a bit more difficult that we had first expected, because we loved the winter landscape, plus all of the cold weather wonderful things that come with it.  Unfortunately, all of our family was traveling to be with us, and we wanted to make sure everyone had a safe trip, so we went with our favorite time of year instead.

I was so thrilled to have our gorgeous fall wedding filled with pumpkins, candle light, outdoor fire, roasted marshmallows, and caramel apples.  The weather behaved herself, and we had a wonderful time.   Two friends, who are fantastic photographers offered to do our wedding photography.  We are so grateful and honored that they would do that.  The photographs capture the emotions and natural beauty that surrounded us.  A big thank you to photographers, Jake Kirk and Katie Anderson.

After our day, I was so excited to go to the Old City Cemetery where Katie and her new husband, Matt got married.  It's a beautiful place, and I'm glad we got to share that with her.  Our glamorous photo shoot with Katie was so fun and relaxed.  What a great day!

Now, that our wedding is wrapped up I wanted to express my sincere congratulations to the winter wonderland brides that will be joining me in wedded bliss.  Also, that a wedding can be very stressful, and with the holiday season approaching us fast I hope you will handle the pressure, planning, and organizing in stride.  Just remember it will all be over soon.

A few ideas and hopefully some inspiration from around the internet.  Enjoy and congrats, ladies!
